• Earth Day 2009

  You know what?
  It's Earth Day.
  
  And how do I know that?
  'Cause in my Bell 1 block at school, I went to Google
  and I saw the Google logo changed. XDDDD
  Isn't Google so usefullllllll?
  
  Anyway, that's not what I wanted to talk about.
  In all seriousness, saving the earth is important.
  
  We're presenting projects in Earth Science class.
  Like, we're supposed to be council city members...
  and we have to vote for passing certain things and stuff through.
  We had to pick different types of plans,
  such as wind mills and light rails or whatever.
  
  I picked a mega mall, and I totally said no to that.
  Sure, it saves gas, everything is there in one place any time, produce more jobs...
  But seriously.
  It's wasting a lot of money, electricity, time, and energy to build the place.
  I mean, money because you know how much it is to make just a regular mall per square feet?
  According to statistics from www.statemaster.com, Virginia (where I live) is #24 out of the United States...
  And guess how much they spend on a regular mall per square feet?
  
  A freakin' $256.30 per square feet.
  
  Seriously.
  And now think how much bigger and taller a mega mall is?
  *sigh*
  
  All in all, I just think that if we were to make a mega mall and the economy was growing,
  that growth would affect the environment in a bad way....
  So I would totally say no to passing that.
  But I do wanna visit a mega mall someday. XDDDDD
  Like, a gigantic one... =)
  
  ANYWAY....
  On the joking side,
  I was on this site called www.gaiaonline.com.
  It's, like....just an Anime website.
  
  But anyway, since today was Earth Day, they gave us a quiz and special opportunities to get stuff for an avatar (avatar=little pixelated model of yourself as you want to be seen).
  Well, I'm currently taking the test, but I just wanted to show you one of the questions.
  It just cracked me up...especially B.

  Anyway, Happy Earth Day and don't do stuff that could harm the environment.
  I gotta go to sleep early for once, but yeah.
